I often say, “I want to get more colorful with age.” What do I mean by that? Just as the leaves change in the Fall and get more colorful over time, I want to get more colorful as I age, and to blend with others to create more beauty than I can alone. And, when my time comes, I want to simply fall off the tree. “Getting more colorful” means trying new things, laughing more, staying socially connected, constantly learning and scaring yourself a little every day. Tips for Adding Color to Your Life: * Go out of your way to meet new people. * Sign up for a class about a topic of interest that you’ve never tried before. * Seek out opportunities that bring more meaning and purpose to your life. * Find a reason to laugh each day. Live Long. Live Well!
