(Tulsa), OK – June 20, 2019 – Jonathan Scarpati, Vice President of Wholesale at Finance of America Reverse LLC (FAR), has been named a 2019 HousingWire Rising Star. He is one of 50 young leaders to earn this distinction for his impact on the mortgage industry.

The Rising Star winners represent a variety of occupations within the housing industry and all of them demonstrate leadership and innovation that inspire not only those within their own organizations, but also in their communities and in the industry at large.

“We are beyond thrilled that Jonathan’s hard work has been recognized with this distinction,” says Kristen Sieffert, President of FAR. “Jonathan is a dynamic and engaging leader and his work demonstrates our commitment to providing first-class operational support to the world of reverse mortgages by providing senior homeowners with more options and equity relief.”

Scarpati is the leader of FAR’s wholesale division, which has been the top wholesale company in the reverse industry for 8 years running. He has been instrumental in the company’s overall success and his leadership within the company is a driving force behind the supportive culture that allows FAR’s team the opportunity to go above and beyond for all partners. Scarpati is a 15-year veteran in the reverse mortgage industry.

“It is an incredible honor to be included in this group of industry leaders,” says Scarpati. “I’m proud to be a part of a company that is taking innovative risks to help shift the evolution of the reverse mortgage industry.”

This is the sixth year that HousingWire has recognized the innovative talent that is propelling the industry forward and the nominations grow more competitive every year. Every sector of the housing economy represented: residential mortgage lending, servicing, investing and real estate, as well as those in advocacy positions, including nonprofits and governmental agencies.

“HousingWire’s 2019 Rising Stars represent a rising generation of strong, innovative and motivated leaders taking the mortgage industry by storm. Each of these individuals has accomplished a great deal, but we believe they are still at the early stages of their ultimate impact on the housing economy,” said Clayton Collins, CEO of HousingWire.
